HMH expanding Pediatric Rehab Services
The Howard Memorial Hospital Board of Directors has voted to enter into a lease agreement for the old Flex Gym building on South 4th Street with plans to remodel the building for the purpose of moving the hospital’s pediatric rehab services.
Hospital C.F.O. Bill Craig says there are couple reasons for moving the service:
Craig says there will be remodeling costs of about $144,000 dollars associated with the relocation project. According to Craig, the hospital is looking into the possibility of using federal stimulus funds to absorb those costs.
The pediatric rehab services could begin operating at their new location in a couple months.
