Howard And Pike District Courts Change Schedules

District Court offices in Pike and Howard counties are implementing precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, as recommended by the Centers For Disease Control & Governor Asa Hutchinson.

District Judge Jessica Steel Gunter says Pike County cases that were scheduled for Tuesday, March 17th, have been reset for 9:00 on Tuesday, April 21st.

In Howard County, district court cases on the docket for March 19th and March 26th at 1:30 are rescheduled for Thursday, April 2nd at 1:30.

Judge Gunter asks the public to avoid in person contact with the district court offices in both counties for the time being.

Payments in Pike County may be made by calling 285-3865. In Howard County, payments may be made by calling 845-7522.
