Scrappers defeat the Curley Wolves in baseball action
Nashville improved the season record to 17 and 2 on the high school baseball season yesterday, with a 6 to 3 non conference win over Prescott at Wilson Park. Scrapper senior Ty Gordon pitched 5 and 2/3rds innings to get the victory. Gordon struck out five Curley Wolf batters, while allowing the 3 runs on 4 hits. Tyler Beene pitched in relief of Gordon to secure the victory.
On offense, Gordon and Garrett Willard each had two hits to lead the Scrappers.
Nashville begins the second half of conference play, with an important road game at Malvern.
