Accident claims life of Horatio man over weekend

A single vehicle accident in Sevier County claimed the life of a Horatio man over the weekend. According to the Arkansas State Police, 22-year-old Allan Martinez of Horatio was traveling southbound on Highway 41 in his 2005 Pontiac GTO on Saturday when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. The accident occurred around 6:20 that morning. Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene by Sevier County Coroner Rusty Williams.
