ADA donating oak tree seedlings in honor of those lost to COVID

The Arkansas Department of Agriculture is donating 10,000 oak tree seedlings to families to honor those lost due to COVID-19. The seedlings are available in Howard County through the Arkansas Forestry Commission office at Dierks. The seedlings my be obtained through March 24th. Families are asked to call to arrange a time to pick up the seedlings. The Forestry Division office at Dierks will be taking calls and assisting individuals with pick up Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The Howard County office number is 828-0859. The office is located at 106 North Main in Dierks.
