Sales Tax Revenue Down For Nashville & Howard County

After seeing a rebound in sales tax revenues for the month of May, numbers for last month have trended lower compared to last year. Sales tax figures in Nashville were down more than $7100 from June of 2019. That represents a 9.7 percent decrease.

The decrease in Howard County’s figures was even larger at 12 percent or more than $14,500 below the collections from the same time last year.
