Annual Pack the Park Car Show Set for This Saturday
The annual Pack the Park Car Show is revving up for this Saturday, September 14th, at Nashville City Park, located at 1301 Johnson Street. Sponsored by the Howard County Historical Society E.A. Williams Chapel/Museum, this much-anticipated event promises a day of classic cars and community fun.
Freddie Horne, President of the Howard County Historical Society, explained that the society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2014, relies heavily on this event for funding. Horne also shared insights into the event’s history and its significance for the organization.
Horne mentioned that the event serves as the organization’s primary fundraiser and also discussed the attendance before the COVID pandemic.
Registration for the car show opens at 9 a.m. with a fee of $25, stated Horne. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their vehicles and compete for various awards.
Horne also outlined the day’s activities, which include a variety of vendor options.
