April traffic stops in Dierks results in drug arrests
A pair of April traffic stops, made by Dierks Police, has led to the arrest of several individuals on drug charges. According to information filed this week, 29 year old Evan Hensley, of Cabool, Missouri, was arrested when Dierks officer Turner Reed Stopped Hensley’s Dodge pickup for driving left of center. During the investigation, Officer Reed was given consent to search the vehicle, which authorities say led to the discovery of a marijuana pipe and a small box, containing suspected LSD. Reports say while the officer was searching the truck, he heard the sound of glass breaking near his patrol car, where Hensley was located. Hensley was placed under arrest, and officers say they recovered broken glass from under the patrol car in the area where Hensley had been standing. Police say the glass was from a smoking device and contained a crystal like residue.
Also in April, a traffic stop by Dierks officers led to the recovery of suspected marijuana and methamphetamine. Arrested during that incident, were 40 year old Nathan Daniel Clark, of Soper, Oklahoma and 26 year old Joseph Tyrell Spaulding of Malvern. Each individual is charged with a felony count of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
