Area Courthouses closed for Thanksgiving holiday

Two area courthouses will close early Wednesday afternoon for the Thanksgiving Day holiday. In Hempstead County, the courthouse in Hope will close tomorrow at noon, while the Pike County Courthouse at Murfreesboro will close Wednesday at 2 p.m.
Trash routes for tomorrow and Thursday in Hempstead County will both be picked up Wednesday. The road and sanitation departments for Hempstead County will also be closed Monday, November 30th. Trash rates for Monday and Tuesday of next week will be collected December 1st in Hempstead County.
In Pike County, trash routes are running their normal schedule through tomorrow. The Thanksgiving Day route will be picked up Monday, November 30th.
