Area County Numbers On COVID-19

According to numbers from the Arkansas Department of Health, Sevier County is seeing an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases being reported. The latest numbers show Sevier County has nine active virus cases which is the most for any southwest Arkansas county.

The health department figures show Howard County has one active case. Hempstead is reporting two cases, while Pike, Polk and Little River counties each show no active cases of COVID-19.

Statewide, Arkansas has gone over four thousand total coronavirus cases. Approximately 91 percent of the tests performed in Arkansas have returned negative.
