Arkansas Century Farm Program Accepting Applications

The Arkansas Department of Agriculture is accepting applications for its Arkansas Century Farm program.

In order to qualify, a farm must have been owned by the same family for a 100 year period ending December 31st of this year. The line of ownership from the original settler or buyer may be through spouses, children, siblings, or nephews and nieces. Adopted children will be recognized equally with other descendants.

The land under consideration must be 10 acres or more of the original farm and make a financial contribution to the overall farm income.
