City of Mineral Springs settles with ADEQ

Monday night, the members of the Mineral Springs City Council passed a resolution to accept the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality’s proposed settlement.

The City of Mineral Springs was fined by the ADEQ $4,200 in 2021 for not being in compliance with state standards. ADEQ proposed waiving $3,200 if the city would pay the $1,000 fine within the next 30-days.
