Blevins Man Arrested in Connection with Theft in Hope
A 26-year-old man from Blevins, was arrested on Monday, October 28th, in connection with a theft that occurred in Hope earlier this month. Braydon Whitney was taken into custody at approximately 10:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Nevada Road 132 in Rosston, following an investigation by the Hope Police Department and the 8th North Task Force.
Whitney was charged with Theft of Property in connection with an incident that took place in the 1700 block of East 3rd Street in Hope. Authorities did not release further details about the stolen property or the circumstances surrounding the theft.
Following his arrest, Whitney was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility, where he is being held in advance of his first court appearance.
