Blevins man arrested on drug paraphernalia charges

A Blevins man has been arrested on charges of possessing drug paraphernalia. 30 year old Cody Fowler of Blevins was arrested after deputies responded to a call of a vehicle being parked in the middle of Hempstead County Road 16. Deputies said they made contact with Fowler, who was asleep in the driver’s seat. Reports said deputies asked Fowler for consent to search his person. Authorities said Fowler objected to the search and pulled a diabetic needle from his pocket, telling deputies the needle had been used for illegal drug purposes.
Fowler has made a first court appearance on the felony charges.
