Blevins To Host Christmas Events

Blevins will host a pair of Christmas events next week.  A Christmas Treasure Hunt begins December 11th and the town’s Christmas parade will be Saturday, December 14th.  During the treasure hunt, event organizers say an item will be hidden somewhere on public property within the city limits.  A clue will be given daily at 4:00 PM on the event’s Facebook page.  A prize of one thousand dollars will be given to the winner who will be announced at the parade. 
The Blevins Christmas parade is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM with line up starting at 5:30 at the Blevins school campus.  Hot cocoa and cookies will be served and Santa will be present at the Word of Faith Church following the parade.
