As of Thursday Pike County has been issued a burn ban by county judge Dewight Mack. No other surrounding counties at this time have any burn bans issued. Its is, however, worth watching as counties across Arkansas with burn bans have seen a daily increase over the past week primarily in the central Arkansas area.. Despite showers in the Southwest Arkansas region recently the risks concerning fires are still present.
