CADC Offering Emergency Assistance To Residents

The Central Arkansas Development Council is offering emergency assistance for rent and mortgage payments as well as water payments for qualifying individuals.

Applicants must meet income guidelines, complete an application form, provide a copy of their I.D. and proof of household income.

Applications must be made by appointment only at one of the C.A.D.C. offices serving area counties.

The C.A.D.C. office in Nashville is located 103 West Shepard Street.

In Hempstead County, the office location is 200 South Elm Street, Suite 2 in Hope and the C.A.D.C. office serving Pike County is located in Mt. Ida at 156 Senior Drive.

The program follows the same requirements as the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. Maximum benefits include 500 dollars for rent and mortgage assistance and 150 dollars for water utility assistance.
