Tyson’s Food New Hatchery provides contract opportunities for poultry farmers

Tyson Foods announced last week that it plans to build a $70 million hatchery operation in Hope. The project will be 131,000 square feet when it is completed in late 2024. The hatchery will serve Tyson’s Hope poultry operation as well as its poultry facility in Nashville.

Tyson has now announced additional information regarding the project. The company said that the hatchery operation in Hope will employ a total of 60 people when it opens next year. Tyson also said the expanded hatchery will provide contract opportunities for up to 200 more poultry houses for current and prospective poultry famers operating within a 50-mile radius of Hope.
