CADC to distribute food boxes in Howard and Pike counties

The Central Arkansas Development Council will distribute food boxes next month in Pike and Howard counties. Two distributions will be held in Pike County, one on October 15th at the Senior Activity Center in Glenwood, and the other on October 20th at the Municipal Building in Murfreesboro.
The Howard County distribution will be October 20th at the Nashville City Park.
All of the distributions will begin around 10 A.M. and will be handed out while supplies last. People receiving one of the boxes will need to show identification and will have to meet income eligibility guidelines in order to qualify.
The CADC says each box will contain over 50 pounds of food, including meat, flour and canned vegetables.
