Center Point Fire Department annual fundraiser is Saturday

The Center Point Fire Department’s annual barbecue and auction fund raiser is scheduled for Saturday, May 14th in the fire station.  Serving begins at five p.m., with the menu to feature barbecue beef, pork and chicken, served with beans, coleslaw, homemade bread and desserts.  The cost will be on a donation basis.  Numerous pistols and other items donated by area merchants will be auctioned off.  Tickets are also being sold on a 12 gauge shotgun that will be raffled off.  Those tickets are $1 each, or you can purchase 6 tickets for $5.
