City Employees At Dierks Get Pay Raise
Dierks City employees are getting a 30 cent per hour pay increase. Council members approved the pay raise Monday night and made it retroactive to January 1st. Officials estimate the raise will cost the city an additional 6,240 dollars per year. The raises will generally amount to a two percent increase for workers.
Dierks is also looking to add another part time employee. James White, who served as the town’s water superintendent for many years, has most recently been working in a part time role at city hall. An exact job description is being created and will be advertised.
