Warrant Issued for Montgomery County Woman

A failure to appear warrant has been issued for a Montgomery County woman who failed to make her scheduled appearance yesterday at circuit court in Murfreesboro. 39 year old old Alverta Johnson, of the Royal community, was originally given a five year probated sentence in July of 2015 on charges of possessing drug paraphernalia. Proceedings to revoke that probated sentenced began last year. A hearing in the case was scheduled for yesterday, but Johnson did not attend.
Two other cases were given trial dates Monday. 56 year old Thomas Slatton of Delight is charged with Aggravated Assault. He is scheduled for pre-trial hearings on November 30th and a trial date of December 17th.
Those same dates were also given to 26 year old Reid Jordan. the Soper, Oklahoma resident is charged in Pike County with Breaking or Entering and Theft of Property.
