Cobras strike Scrappers
Nashville had more hits than Fountain Lake in Tuesday’s 7-4A Conference game at Wilson Park, however, the Cobras finished the game with more runs, winning 7 to 5 over the Scrappers. Fountain Lake took an early lead, with the Scrappers fighting their way back to tie the game at 2. During the 4th inning, the Cobras scored four runs, and would be ahead for the rest of the 7 inning contest.
Garrett Willard took the loss for Nashville. He allowed 7 runs on 5 hits. Willard also struck out five and walked five.
At the plate, Nashville was led by Aiden Smith and Tyler Brown, who each collected two hits in three at bats.
The Scrappers will host Malvern Friday afternoon at Wilson Park.
