County Judge announces ‘no loose’ trash pickup in county

The Howard County Judge’s office is reminding residents in rural areas of the county that sanitation crews will not pick up loose trash. County Judge Kevin Smith said many people have receptacles or containers that hold their trash bags, but sometimes, loose trash is placed in the storage bins. The judge said county crews will only pick up trash that has been contained in some form.
