COVID – Arkansas Department of Healths

In the latest data provided by the Arkansas Department of Health we see the lowest number of increased active cases since January 3rd of the new year. Current active cases across the state currently number 59,579 which is an increase of 2,197 from the day before. Hospitalizations have once again broken the 1,000 threshold number 1,010 – an increase of 40 from the day before. Of those hospitalized 133 are currently on ventilators.

Data provided by The Arkansas Department of Health for our area shows Howard County to have 261 active cases only surpassed by neighboring Hempstead county which has 276 active cases. Sevier county is reported to have 225 actives cases, Polk county 139, Pike County 128, and Montgomery 34.
