COVID #’s Update

An update on COVID numbers for the state as per the latest data released by the Arkansas Department of Health. As of Saturday August 28th, Total Active cases in the state of Arkansas has increased by 469 to 24,697. Deaths increased by 18 bringing the total to 6,854 over the span of this pandemic. Hospitalizations decreased by 52 bringing the total down to 1,272. Of those hospitalized 342 remain on ventilators showing a decrease of 6 from the time of the last report. And Howard County reports 156 active cases at this time.
