Deadline Set For South Pike County Virtual Learning Signup

The South Pike County school district has set a July 21st deadline for parents to request the virtual learning method for their child in the 20/21 school year.

With the virtual learning method, students will need internet access and will be required to fully participate in educational activities. School officials say grades will be given regularly and assignments will be evaluated to the same level as if students were enrolled in on-site education.

Students who participate in the virtual learning method will be required to continue the process through the end of the semester.

School official say these students will be allowed to participate in extra-curricular activities.
