Outlaws defeat Scrappers 9-5

Dierks and Nashville played a close baseball game Thursday at Wilson Pak, until the Outlaws erupted for eight runs in the sixth inning.  Dierks went on to win the non-conference game, by a score of 9 to 5.  The Scrappers had an off day defensively, allowing five errors on the afternoon.  Kaleb Halter took the loss for Nashville, while Austin Mack tossed nearly six innings to be the winning pitcher.  Kason Willard led Nashville offensively, getting a pair of hits in four at bats.  The Outlaws collected 11 hits in  yesterday’s game.

The Scrappers return to conference play this afternoon, with a road game at Arkadelphia, who has not lost a conference game so far, in 10 contest.
