Death of Hope resident under investigation in Texarkana

Authorities say a Hope man died from gunshot wounds he received yesterday. The shooting happened in the Oaklawn Village Shopping Center around 11:30 Tuesday morning. The victim, identified as 29 year old Hope resident, Nicholas Muldrow, drove his car to a nearby restaurant. Medical personnel provided treatment, but authorities say Muldrow died at a hospital about an hour later. Police are treating the shooting as a homicide.
