If the Scrapperettes win they will play the winner of the Little Rock Christian – Fayetteville matchup at 8:30 on Friday night.
Head coach Paul Dean said this year’s team consists of 18 players including 4-year starter Kyleigh Scoggins, who is considered one of the top players in the state, Lauren Carver, Sophie Kuykendall, KK Perkins and Sage Green.
Dean said the expectations are high for this team and he expects them to be in the championship mix at the end of this season. However, they will have to go through one of the toughest, if not the toughest high school basketball schedules in the state.
