Dierks High School Band Program recognized at monthly Board Meeting

Monday night during the Dierks School District’s regular monthly meeting the Dierks High School Band was recognized during the Outlaw spotlight.

Band Director Alex Clark stated that since he took over the job as Band Director in June of last year, he’s been working really hard to try to change the culture and perspective of the Dierks band program along with mentioning to the board what the band has earned and how well they were doing during marching concerts.

Clark talked about some of the goals that he has for the Dierks High School band and how he wants the band to improve.

Clark also talked about his time when he was a member of the Razorback band and how he applies what he learned while teaching at Dierks High School along with an encouraging word to upcoming band members.
