Dierks Resident Facing Multiple Charges
A Dierks resident has been arrested this week after a student reported a domestic incident to the school’s resource officer.
45 year old William Rosson is charged with several felonies that include simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of firearms by certain persons, aggravated assault and possession of drug paraphernalia.
After the incident was reported, Sheriff’s Investigator Joey Davis met with the student and her mother who told authorities that Rosson shot a gun at the mother during a verbal altercation.
Deputies arrested Rosson at his home and determined he was a convicted felon.
Police say they obtained a search warrant for the residence and discovered a 20 gauge shotgun along with a 22 caliber rifle. Deputies say they also noticed what appeared to be bullet holes in the ceiling and furniture. Suspected methamphetamine and a glass smoke pipe were also discovered at the residence.
