Dierks resident sentenced to 3-years in ADC

A Dierks resident was sentenced to the Arkansas Department of Corrections this week during Howard County Circuit Court.  30 year old Macon Sullivan was given a three year prison sentence, along with a five year suspended sentence.  Sullivan was charged in August 2019 with Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Sullivan was accused of selling several Hydrocodone pills during an undercover operation conducted by the Howard County Sheriff’s Department.  In addition to his sentences, Sullivan will also be ordered to pay costs, and will be given credit for jail time served.
