MS School Board Approves Homecoming Rules

Mineral Springs School Board approved the district’s Homecoming Court rules and guidelines.
Superintendent Billy Lee presented two proposals for the board’s approval. One included Freshman maids. The other was the traditional court made up of Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors. Lee reported the board approved the traditional Homecoming Court proposal.

Lee reported the De Queen/Mena Educational Co-op has agreed to move the playground equipment from the Saratoga campus to the new Mineral Springs ABC playground.
Following an executive session, board members accepted the resignations of a 1st grade teacher, Christy Terrell and an Elementary Aide, Alvin Stewart.
Board members also approved the state’s Classified and Certified personnel COVID Emergency Leave policy.
