Dierks School Board Approves Change to Classified Personnel Policy

The Dierks School Board approved a change to the classified personnel policy at their monthly meeting held this week. The change reads that employees who accumulate the total maximum leave days (120 days) shall be paid the current non-certified substitute teacher daily rate of pay up to a total of (12) days maximum for unused leave at the end of the school year. This new change will be effective in the 2020-2021 school year.

In other business, board members approved a motion by Brad Garner to approve a bid from KLC in the amount of $16,537 for six new bus cameras. LaDonna White and Amber Davis have been added to the substitute list.
