Dierks School Board hires staff for the 2023-2024 School year

Members of the Dierks School Board held a special called meeting Wednesday.

During the meeting, the board approved a motion to hire the following staff for the 2023-2024 School year, as per the salary schedule: Laurie Kirkpatrick as a kindergarten teacher, Laken Kirby as a high school special education teacher under an ALP, Deidra Dove as a Kindergarten through 12 art teacher and a bus driver, and Barbara Chambers as a custodian. All motions were passed unanimously.

The board also approved a motion to accept the resignations of Beth Shelton who was the kindergarten teacher and junior high cheer coach, and custodian Jami Mosley. All were in favor of those motions.
