Dierks School District list several upcoming projects
The Dierks School board held their regular monthly meeting last week.
Superintendent Grover Hill said that they still have some of the Bund Funds left and it must be spent by the 21st. Grover mentioned that he wanted to get a couple of projects going, starting with the school buildings.
Business Manager Kayla Jones mentioned the Business trip Accidental Death Coverage. Jones stated that this is something that they do every year and this is just in the event if someone is traveling or on a business and is involved in an accident then they will be covered. A motion was made by Justin Simmons and seconded by Laykon Graham, passed unanimously to approve Business Trip Accidental Death Dismemberment Coverage through Arkansas School Board Association.
The Dierks School District received 3 students from Umpire and they received a petition to transfer one student to the Horatio School District. A motion was made by Laykon Graham and seconded by Justin Simmons, passed unanimously to accept the transfer of one student out of the district.
