Driver Collides with School Bus Wednesday Morning

One person was injured Wednesday morning in an accident involving a personal vehicle and a Nashville Public School District bus. Police say the accident happened just after 7:30 on Mine Street as the bus was stopped to pick up a student. A 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe failed to stop and collided with the back end of the school bus. The 17 year old driver of the Hyundai was transported to the hospital by ambulance. One student on the school bus complained of soreness..but did not immediately get treatment.
