Early voting continues this week in Howard County

Slightly less than 500 people cast an early ballot during the first week of voting in Howard County.  The first two days of voting last week each had at least 100 people going to the polls.  The turnout continued to decline as the voting continued through Saturday.

Early voting resumes this week at the Carter Day Center, located next to Lake Nichols.  Polls will be open from 8 to 6 through Friday.  On Saturday, early voting will take place from 10 to 4 and it will wrap up a week from today, with voting scheduled from 8 to 5 on May 23rd.  An early voting location will also be open May 23rd from 8 to 5 at the Community Building in Dierks.
