Four Defendants plead guilty to drug, child pornography, and sexual assault charges in Howard County

Wednesday, October 26, four defendants plead guilty before Circuit Court Judge Tom Cooper at the Howard County Courthouse.

Anthony Williams plead guilty to delivery of meth, cocaine or heroin with an enhanced penalty for location within 1,000 feet of a church. Williams was sentenced to 10 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

Tressie Scott plead guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to 10 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections, but her ADC sentence will be suspended until she completes drug court.

Rashaud Gaines plead guilty to a charge of delivery of meth, cocaine or heroin in June of 2021 in Little River County and received a sentence of 10 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections. Gaines’ sentence will run concurrently with any sentence he receives from charges in Miller County.

Michael Collier of Nashville plead guilty to computer child pornography and sexual assault in the 4th degree in Pike County. Collier plead guilty and was sentenced to 15 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections plus 5-year consecutive. He also received credit for time served.

Collier was charged with having a sexual relationship with the juvenile daughter of a family friend. Collier also pled guilty to sending graphic sexual messages to the juvenile over the internet. The incidents reportedly occurred in the summer of 2021.
