Glenwood man arrested for 6th DWI in Pike County
Pike County authorities have charged a Glenwood man with his sixth D.W.I. count. On August 6th, Arkansas State Troopers said they observed a vehicle with a cracked windshield and several articles hanging from the rear view mirror, causing an obstructed view for the driver. A traffic stop was conducted on Highway 84 East, with the driver being identified as 56 year old Randy Castle of Glenwood. Authorities say they learned Castle had a revoked driver’s license. Troopers say they also detected the odor of intoxicants coming from Castle and saw an open container of alcohol inside Castle’s vehicle. Following a portable breath test at the traffic stop, Castle was arrested and transported to the Pike County Jail. He has been charged with a felony D.W.I #6, and misdemeanor counts of driving on a revoked license, having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle, having an obstructed windshield, and having an interior obstruction on his vehicle.
