Glenwood man charged with rape, sexual assault, and indecency with a child

On October 26,  Chief Michael Lesher of the Glenwood Police Department received a report concerning an investigation being conducted by Investigator Angela Harris.
According to the report, 55 year old Faustino Nopal of Glenwood had allegedly been sexually abusing three juvenile families members for almost 10 years.
According to the affidavit, Nopal started abusing one victim when she was about 7 years of age, another victim when she was about 6 years old and the third victim when she was about 12 years of age.
The three victims reported they were living with Nopal and he would invite them into his bedroom to watch cartoons, and then he would turn on adult movies.
A fourth victim stated Nopal would abuse her when she and her family would visit Nopal in Glenwood. Victim four said Nopal even threatened to harm her family if she told anyone about what he did.
Nopal was arrested and charged with three counts of rape, 2 counts of sexual assault in the 2nd degree, 2 counts of sexually grooming a child and sexual indecency with a child.
