Governor Issues New COVID-19 Executive Orders
Governor Asa Hutchinson has issued a pair of new executive orders related to COVID-19. The first order assists medial personnel and first responders with getting workman’s comp if their claim is directly caused by COVID-19.
The second executive order announced yesterday by the governor deals with liability for doctors and other medical personnel who are treating patients affected by the virus.
In his daily update yesterday, Governor Hutchinson stated that Arkansas has not yet seen its peak on COVID-19 so residents must continue to social distance, as well as adhering to guidelines that limits interactions with larges numbers of people.
