Nashville Scrapperettes claims 3 seed in 4A Softball Tournament

Saturday afternoon, the Nashville Scrapperettes claimed the 3 seed in the 4A state softball tournament in Lonoke this week. The Scrapperettes will play the number 4 seed out of the east.

The Scrapperettes defeated Monticello 3 to 1.

Nashville head coach Brian Boomer Brown said it was a great game.

Monticello came into the contest as the number 1 seed from the 8-4A. The Scrapperettes were the 3 seed from the 7-4A.

Brown said the Scrapperettes will play Thursday at 10 am in Lonoke.

Brown said he was proud that his young team was one of the final 12 teams playing this season.

Thursday,’s state softball game will be broadcast on B 99.5 at 10 am.
