Hempstead County Lifts Burn Ban

Hempstead County Judge Jerry Crane reported on Monday that the burn ban for Hempstead County has been lifted, temporarily due to sufficient rainfall having occurred in the area. The Arkansas Forestry Commission still lists Hempstead County as under a high risk of wildfire danger, while Howard, Pike, Sevier and Little River county are listed as a low wildfire risk.
