HMH starts 2021 fiscal year on a positive note

The Howard Memorial Hospital Board of Directors received the he October financial report from CFO, Bill Craig.

Craig reported the hospital is starting the 2021 fiscal year on a positive note

Craig reported the emergency department were down, but the outpatient visits were up by 16 percent.

CEO Debra Wright provided a report on COVID-19. She said the hospital has a 15 percent positivity rate. Wright also reported 41 employees, physicians and contract labor employees have received the vaccine.

Wright also reported the hospital has contracted Allied Universal Security to provide security guards from 8 am to midnight, seven days a week.
