HMH will soon conduct Patient Safety survey

The Howard Memorial Hospital Board of Directors held their regular monthly meeting Tuesday. 
Director of Performance Improvement Beth Schooley mentioned Howard Memorial Hospital will be conducting the AHRQ Survey of Patient Safety in the near future and what it entails for patient safety culture in healthcare.

CEO Debra Wright took a brief moment to speak on the generosity of HMH’s employees and staff.

Wright also mentioned that Howard Memorial Hospital received a refund check from Worker’s Comp Self-Insured Trust in the amount of $22,000. Wright congratulated HMH employees on their efforts to prevent injuries in the work environment. This enabled HMH to be eligible for these refunds from the Worker’s Comp Self-insured Trust.
