Holiday closings

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday this week, trash pickup schedule changes have been announced for both Howard & Pike Counties. In Howard County, rural trash routes will run their normal collection schedule through Wednesday. There will be no trash routes collected Thanksgiving Day in Howard County…and the routes for both Thursday & Friday this week will be made Friday.

In Pike County, routes will run their normal schedule through Wednesday. No rural trash routes will be made for Pike County Thursday or Friday of this week. Both routes will be made Monday, November 29th in Pike County…and the schedule for next week will be one day behind the normal pickup day.

Government offices around the area are scheduled to be closed Thursday & Friday this week for Thanksgiving.
