Holiday Event and Museum Exhibits Highlighted by Howard County Historical Society’s Susan Nannemann

In a recent conversation with KMTB and KNAS, Susan Nannemann, a member of the Howard County Historical Society and owner of Sunshine Acres, shared insights into her role as a curator and upcoming community events that will bring people together this holiday season.

Nannemann spoke about the diverse range of items currently on display at the Chapel Museum, which offers a glimpse into the rich history of the area.

She emphasized the museum’s ongoing success in attracting visitors, noting how the exhibits continue to provide an enriching experience for both locals and visitors alike.

Looking to the future, Nannemann shared details about an exciting new exhibit on Dinosaur tracks that will soon be showcased at the Chapel Museum.

In addition, she took the opportunity to highlight the contributions of Hannah Sherman, an intern with the Howard County Historical Society. Sherman has been instrumental in setting up the new displays, further enriching the museum’s offerings.

To wrap up the conversation, Nannemann reminded the community of the upcoming Hometown Holiday event on Sunday, December 8th, from 2 to 4 pm. This annual free event will be hosted at the EA Williams Chapel Museum at 200 W. Hempstead Street and the Fire Station at 115 W. Sypert Street.
