Scrapperette Softball team gears up for Scrapaganza Day

The Nashville Scrapperette Softball team will be hosting the Scrapperette Softball Scrapaganza day this Friday, March 29th. The dinners will consist of boneless chicken thighs, potato casserole, beans, dessert, bread, and a bottled water for $10. It is their biggest fundraiser of the year and has become a tradition in the community.

Coach Boomer Brown stated that this has been going for about 15 years but since this is an all-day event that’s how the name Scrapaganza Day came about.

They are asking for small donations, but they are not required during the Swinging with the Scrapperettes activity which will begin at 5:30pm.

Brown mentioned that he decided to switch things up for hitters that don’t have a chance to hit a home run by using nets on the field that have money values.

Brown also said that they will have walk-ups this year and he’s thinking about doing a few prizes to give away during the game “Let’s Hit a Deal.”

You may purchase a ticket for pickup or delivery from any softball player or text Coach Brown at 870-833-0521.
